Free information event for landlords in Worcestershire
If you are a property landlord or someone thinking of getting involved in taking on tenants for the first time, we have just the thing you may be interested in – a landlord’s seminar which will be taking place in Kidderminster next month.
These seminars are something we host from time to time and they always go down well with landlords wanting to keep up to date with everything that’s going on in the industry.
It’s a free to attend event taking place at the Gainsborough Hotel on Wednesday, October 24 between 5.30 and 7.30pm and will feature several guest speakers who will cover a range of subjects.
Our last event was held near Bridgnorth, was well supported and an informative evening for our guests who were able to tap into the wealth of experience of our panel.
Experts on the night include Dawn Clarke, Nock Deighton Lettings Director, and ARLA Regional Representative, who will be updating us on lettings legislation; our vice-chairman Michael Nettleton who will focus on Land and New homes and Scott Taylor-Barr, of Carl Summers Financial Services, who will talk about buy-to-let mortgages.
Fiona Wilkinson, from Stanton Ralph & Co Chartered Accountants, will discuss tax advice for landlords and a representative from Thursfields Solicitors will be looking at the buy-to-let purchase process and issues surrounding possession proceedings.
The event is aimed at bringing current and any potential investors up to speed on any financial and legal changes around buying investment property.
It will be of interest to anyone who may be considering more investment and those who may be toying with the idea of becoming a property landlord for the first time.
Refreshments will be served on the night and we are sure those attending will find it extremely useful to hear about issues that directly affect them from the people who really know – a great opportunity to get the right advice and assistance.
